Workshop on Co-Creation of guidelines on the ethical use of Gen AI - Explore the potential of GenAI to support students with specific learning difficulties, sensory impairments, from challenged socioeconomic backgrounds and women with BD HE and TVET partners.
Themes – Co-creation of Guidelines on the ethical use of GenAI to support HE and TVET students in Bangladesh – including ethical and safety guidelines, curriculum development relevant to the BD context, the range of QA frameworks and inclusion of EDI principles. Co-design activities will consider how lesson plans include modifiers that encourage GenAI tools to incorporate accessibility and personalisation into lesson planning and design so that ALL students are supported to succeed.
Aims - The workshop featured sessions led by distinguished resource persons from Nottingham Trent University (UK), King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KSA), American International University-Bangladesh (BD), BUET (BD), and Jahangirnagar University (BD) with a focus on brainstorming and discussion to initiate the co-creation of guidelines on the ethical use of GenAI to support HE and TVET students in Bangladesh. There was also a thread to introduce Equality and diversity charters used in the UK and to highlight Equality, Diversity and Inclusion principles.
