Ethical literacy exercises: Include activities that build critical awareness, empower students to audit AI use, and identify pathways for continuous feedback and guideline improvement [1].
Group brainstorming: Facilitate group sessions to propose, critique, and refine draft guidelines tailored to Bangladeshi values, legal constraints, and practical realities (e.g., consent, language, fairness, transparency, redress mechanisms) [2].
We need to ensure all attendees have sight of the current guidelines – and a means to edit, tune and record their GenAI guideline iterations (https://accessible.academy).
In brief, the outcome of these sessions will help us to tune the existing GenAI guidelines for staff and students. We have analysed the outcomes of the online workshop of the 27th October using the meeting transcript and derived a set of reflections and themes which are listed in below (Drafting and Tuning Guidelines).
We have analysed these reflections to understand how we can tune the existing guidelines (Emergent GenAI Guidelines).
The goal here is to use the reflections from both workshops (27th October and 9th December), to derive a set of GenAI guidelines, some of which will be a direct mapping to our existing guidelines, some tuned to the Bangladeshi context, and others entirely new.
