Inclusive Education Toolkit – Survey Results

Introduction

One of DiversAsia’s (Embracing diversity in ASIA through the adoption of Inclusive Open Practices ) key goals was to create a toolkit of materials that could help to improve access to higher education for people specifically in developing countries such as India and Bangladesh. In October 2025, a workshop was held in Dhaka, Bangladesh to disseminate the Accessibility Toolkit developed initially as part of the DiversAsia Horizon project (618615-EPP-1-2020-1-UKEPPKA2-CBHEJP). It was demonstrated to a workshop of 40 participants from multiple higher education institutions.

The workshop was funded by Nottingham Trent University and the British Council Bangladesh’s TNE (Transnational Education) Strategy fund and was a part of an ongoing impact campaign where NTU and their partner institutions in India and Bangladesh strive to disseminate the toolkit to improve access for all to higher education globally.

In the next sections are the results of a survey of those participants following the workshop.
